Zafrah started in Pittsburgh in 2013 with one idea: price gold on what it's worth. Fine jewelry had become a game of brand markups — often 20 times the value of the gold in your hand. We decided to make solid-gold jewelry, price it on what it's actually worth, and sell it straight to you.
